The Wildflower Center is a beautiful space on grounds covered with all sorts of stunning wildflowers. A uniquely Austin event space, perfect for outdoor weddings. Royal Fig has catered numerous weddings and special events here and can bring our experience to work for you.
LAYOUT
There are several different spaces at the Wildflower Center open to your use. One option we recommend would be holding your wedding ceremony in the courtyard, then moving your cocktail hour over to the Butterfly Garden while our staff flips the courtyard, and sets it up for your catered dinner. We suggest round table for the courtyard dinner, as they work perfectly with the rounded shape of the space, adding to the elegant feel. Later, you and your guests can move over to the gallery space for cake and dancing because the gorgeous wood floors are the perfect dancing surface.
Royal Fig recommends that you work closely with an event planner familiar with producing events at the Wildflower Center, as the load in and set up can prove to be logistically challenging. Additionally we recommend asking your rental company to stay and help with the flip of the space. Also, asking your floral vendor to stay for the room configuration would be perfect.

RECOMMENDATIONS
- Put some chairs inside the gallery so anyone who needs to relax inside can remove themselves from the heat and enjoy some AC.
- Provide guests with a map of the Wildflower Center
- Chairs and tables will need to be provided to the Wildflower Center
- Load in time at the Wildflower Center is very short, which requires a larger amount of staff to set things up
